Zoo plea after hoax

Zoo plea after hoax: Stop calling our animals : "'It might be kind of funny the first few times but we have lost our sense of humour now with calls coming in at a rate of about 13 a minute. The system is pretty much choked,' she said."

Yes, I can see how people might think it is funny but they wouldn't be thinking about how many calls are likely to be made. It's very wearing and destructive. You'd think in this day and age that Telcos and IT people could come to the party to work out a filtering programme which would send those kinds of unwanted calls to a dead end...especially since the Telcos are making money out of them. There are days when you wonder why we have the "benefits" of technology.
