Passengers vent fury on trams

Passengers vent fury on trams: "Dr McFetridge said the Government must fix the service's airconditioning after The Advertiser revealed that a number of passengers fainted yesterday morning because of the stifling conditions inside the peak-hour trams."

Enough of us have travelled elsewhere to know you can have good public transport and we have reached our limit. The roadworks all around Adelaide are slowing us down and driving us crazy in cars. The buses have been arriving late, early or driving straight past us. The trains aren't up to scratch...well they are...we are fed up with great views and scratched windows...and the trams are insufficient for our needs. We want to save carbon. We want to save energy and we want to avoid the ongoing constant mess of roadworks and rebuilding. We have reached that point where things had better change for the better. Enough is enough. We are getting more people here and we just don't have the systems to cope and the rebuilding is just adding to the pressure.
