Mega flower theft a downer : "'To whoever stole this sunflower: These sunflowers were planted by my daughters. They cried when the flower was stolen. The flowers are for their enjoyment and for the viewing pleasure of people passing by.'
'The girls planted the seeds last year and they have watched them grow and grow and keep on growing,' he said.
'It's a shame that someone took a flower; they're there for the enjoyment of the girls and for people walking by.'"
Pretty nasty lesson for the two little Tasmanian girls to learn...but here Dad seems to have his head screwed on the right way and is teaching them how to come out on top of adversity. I hope the other sunflowers are safe and grow even bigger and better. A web cam might be the answer!
