Adelaide's east parklands lake dries out

Adelaide's east parklands lake dries out : "Mr Rossis questions why private swimming pools are still allowed to be filled in Adelaide but a public space is being allowed to run down."

It was on the news tonight ,at last, but it's been on our lips because we are gobsmacked. The lake in Rymill Park was really nice and it made that park really good to visit. We are bit astounded by what is going on at the moment...the lake has been filled in and looks awful, the grand stand hoo-ha continues, no trainline extension for the South and the city has become stiflingly hot. Full of hot air. Time to blow a few breezes through, eh, and take a leaf from the Botanical Gardens notebook and CARE for our environment. No way should private pools be more important than community facilities. We have great beaches. In terms of priorities our environment is more important. We are not happy!!
