Deck the halls with devastating weeds

Deck the halls with devastating weeds: "Other dangerous plants were pampas grass, asparagus fern, sheenas gold and cotoneaster, she said."

I knew about ivy from first hand experience. it goes mad here and keeps seeding new plants. I had mine cut down and then carefully took the seedlings out of the garden. The neighbours on one side have let it grow again...it's really destructive of other plants, weighs a tonne and ruins fences. The holly I did not know about. I had a holly bush at my last home and it was compact, stayed compact and was never a problem. Perhaps because it was in poor soil and dry most of the time! This article gives you a link to our well known devastators!
