Fluoride water `causes cancer'

The Hindu : Sci Tech : Fluoride water `causes cancer':

"FLUORIDE in tap water can cause bone cancer in boys, a disturbing new study indicates, although there is no evidence of a link for girls. New American research suggests that boys exposed to fluoride between the ages of five and 10 will suffer an increased rate of osteosarcoma — bone cancer — between the ages of 10 and 19."

If this is so, I think we need to examine this further. We have fluoridated tap water and you can smell the chlorine as well. A while back we were being berated for drinking too much bottled water but Adelaide will always seek water alternatives. It was bliss again being somewhere where I could wash my clothes and hair and they were soft! In better condition. Goodness knows what the tap water does to your insides here. So, if it is true that fluoride is contributing to bone cancer in boys, then we need to get onto it. I thank The Hindu for publishing this article and the Americans for waking up to the links in their research. Cancer is disgusting. We need to be curing it not causing it.
