Caviar d'escargot slithers onto the menu : "IF you want your guests to linger over an exclusive entree at a festive dinner party, why not try a novelty in slow-food - snail eggs."

I like snails. Enjoy them...but linger over small eggs? I do not think so. They get all over my plants in winter and I am not in the slightest bit driven to gathering them and slopping them on a bit of delicious baguette . They apparently taste like undergrowth after the rain. Not that I'd actually want to have that kind of flavoursome experience.
