England kick Wallabies out of world cup

England kick Wallabies out of world cup: "JOHN Connolly's worst nightmares came to fruition as England's Jonny Wilkinson kicked the Wallabies out of the World Cup with a 12-10 quarter-final boilover at Stade Velodrome today."

Oh well, it's down to the historical rivalry between England and France. Good for Europe but that's it for the Pacific. I am surprised the NZ team got beaten, but then again, the Wallabies have been doing pretty well. You literally have to be on your toes in elite sport these days. You have to be playing at your supreme best. It means if you get to the top you are extremely good, but if you want to win, there can be no weak links. Maybe Australia and New Zealand can come home and have a finishing match here...the rugby has been well supported, but I suspect many in the Pacific will lose their interest from this point on. Would be interesting to know.
