AdelaideNow... Guards for 'trap doors': "A set of the doors opened in the third carriage as the 5.10pm service pulled out of the station, with passengers on the packed train attempting unsuccessfully to push them closed. The train then travelled less than 100 metres before derailing and leaving hundreds stranded."
Time for an overhall , I think..and derailing during peak hour, how well timed was that ??!! I don't know what they are worried about really. We used to leave the doors open on the red hens. But then again , people knew to stand clear or not to fall out. You can't count on that these days. I confess my trip to town by train this week was very pleasant, very enjoyable and all I wish is we could have clean, non scratched windows. I'd love to get hold of the people who scratch the windows. it's sick. We have such superb views marred by eggheads whose best effort is to damage train windows so we can't see out of them. Very forward thinking. They need to catch them, seriously. I'd love to see them cleaning trains and windows for a couple of years...and even having a bit of a break on the skateboard ramp.
