Campaign to unseat pro-mill MPs

Campaign to unseat pro-mill MPs : "Mr Cousins, a former close adviser to John Howard, said he wanted the Liberals and Labor to become painfully aware of public opposition to the Tamar Valley mill, which Gunns chief executive John Gay said yesterday could move to construction within weeks."

So, we have seen that Mr. Turnbull would approve this. His decision. It is a defining moment for us because the Tamar Valley is pristine and our 3rd oldest settlement in Australia. We have arrived at a spot which now defines us. Some are prepared to put the Tamar Valley and all its history and beauty at risk. Money talks. Money can buy anything. It's only money. It's just a lump of real estate and it's just productivity , shareholders and jobs. Only just. yet we see there are so many of us who think there are things above material gain. things we cannot sell, trade, by, make profit from. things which should remain. They should be there for our children, our grand children...like they were for us. We have lost sight of the fact we enjoy the beauty of our land because our ancestors built it for us and kept it going in a healthy way. We had rivers which flowed, forests and plantations. We had birds, animals which were healthy and well. So the Tamar valley is about our values. What we stand for. It is a defining moment . How shall we be defined?
