Red meat raises breast cancer risk: "'Women generally consuming most total meat, red and processed meat were at the highest increased risk compared with non-meat consumers,' the researchers' report said."

So what is in red meat which is of concern? If red meat eating is a problem there has to be something in it. Women have been eating red meat forever but only recently does breast cancer seem to be this total and complete scourge. More and more women seem to be getting it so there has to be a cause in our lifestyle. If it's meat, then what is in it ? Did they compare manufacured against organic samples? The tests seem to be pretty thorough but the results are a bit daulting and off putting. Meat is one of the best sources of iron for women. You don't have to eat a lot...we need better information here, but what a find!
