ABC journo awarded $1m over Thredbo fall.

ABC journo awarded $1m over Thredbo fall: "The company has 21 days to appeal against the judgement and has declined to comment on the decision."

I am not surprised. It will take them a while to get their bottom jaw off the ground. What about Stuart? What about the families of the ones who did not survive. What about the rescuers who put their lives at risk to try and save people? What about he wear and tear on all of us as a nation as we stressed silently and stayed glued to the unfolding news and deprived ourselves of oxygen as we tried to hardly breathe for fear the land would shift? Does this skew and make a mockery of the grief, the loss, the terrible agony of those under the ground and those trying to get people to safety and us trying to pray for wings of angels to carry the rescue operation through? The bridge was there...you judge whether it is safe or not and the whole damn area was unsafe. It was a catastrophe for cryin out loud. There was such totally meticulous planning to try and get people out. Every rescue footstep was planned . Do I sound outraged? I'll get over it, but not yet.
