Hot!!

Want to see our weather?? I love the Bureau of Meteorology. You can just go there and get up to date maps and pictures and you sit at the command centre and feel like you really know something. I'll tell you . It's hot!! It was hot yesterday abut that didn't deter us. We worked, shopped, restauranted and cafe-d our way through the day. We talked and chatted and then waited for the magical watering hour...and watered. But last night they forgot to put oxygen in the air. At about 2.15am my dog was getting a bit stressed so I got up and washed her down and cooled her off a bit. I can't put the air conditioner on at night because you have to have the windows open and I can't sleep with air conditioning! I manage the heat but most don't. You have to watch out for the animals especially because they manage pretty well, but when they start getting restless and panting, a nice wash down really helps. I opened my window and there was a tiny bit of air... not enough for both of us so I let her have it since she had decided my room was the place to sleep. I was so glad to get up and I confess I put the air conditioner on just to get some air and it's been on low and it's just enough. People are managing and even using the time to spring clean, de Christmas and wash their cars! But does that look like rain on the picture? Big clouds swirling over SA??? It's overcast but no rain. Not here. Maybe I am invisible. That picture looks like heaps of clouds and I have plenty of those...and that cyclone which hit WA is moving across...It's a 3 day drive to Perth from here so the cyclone will not be like it was in WA.
