Elderly man fends off burglar with stick : "The 84-year-old man was confronted by an intruder in his home in Hammond Road, Findon, in the early hours of Wednesday.
But he refused to be intimidated, and fought his attacker off, bashing him on the head with his stick until he ran off."
Good!! When a fit, strong 25 year old is prepared to break into the home of an 84 year old he needs a good wallop. Sorry, but he does. I cannot stand disrespect and opportunism. I hope they catch the young guy and I hope he has to help the old man to do his shopping, chores, running around...and maybe the old guy will teach him a thing or two that he obviously missed out on while he was growing up.
