Despite arrests schoolies 'well behaved'

AdelaideNow... Despite arrests schoolies 'well behaved':

"Police said a majority of those charged over the three nights of festivities were actually adults and not teenagers celebrating the end of year 12 exams."

I am actually pleased to get a more detailed account of this event. It's too esy to get things out of perspective. When you read this , you can see that a massive crowd gathered and had fun and that the school kids actually participated positively in the celebration. We haven't heard from the townsfolk yet and they are part of this event. It would appear our kids are learning and they are respectful of the event and area. Big celebrations can be good and a real drawcard, but they rely on community co operation and a level of social behaviour which demonstrates thought and care. I am pleased we have moved this all forward into something decent. It could be a great event if everyone thinks about he part they play and clearly we have moved in the right direction.
