Vanuatu Post recognised as a world leader

Vanuatu Post recognised as a world leader:
"Since corporatisation, Vanuatu Post has not only seen marked improvement in local and international postal services, it has also launched many new products, services and ventures to cater for the needs of the people of Vanuatu and tourists, including the innovative and world famous Underwater Post Office and Volcano Post ventures."

It's true. Vanuatu Post is very surprising. It is creative, artisitic and efficient. When I posted letters and postcards from there last year EVERYONE remarked on the stamps - how beautiful they were, how clever the designs were, how much they had enjoyed receiving them. This is something Vanuatu is expert at - making others appreciate the simple pleasures in life. The stamps are extraordinary and I bought packets of them to bring back home because they are so striking. The Underwater post office and the volcano one were the talk of the tourists. Some posted them themselves at the underwater one because they could dive. They were just great ideas. When I went intot post office in Port Vila, I was really happy with the pleasant, friendly service which made it so easy for me, as an overseas visitor, to send mail from Vanuatu. They were efficient, friendly and gave good advice. Vanuatu Post is up against Guernsey Post, Belgian Post and Libanpost. I wonder who will win the World Mail Awards? Australia Poast won it in 2004.
