Joyce opposes sick leave rules. :
"The Government says the provision is to stop unauthorised strike actions, like 'blue flu', where an entire workforce calls in sick.
Senator Joyce says he is one employer who will not be taking advantage of the changes."
How often have whole groups of people called in sick on one day or more? I imagine this to be odd and symptomatic of problems within that particular work environment. I find this very odd. If we are compelled to provide a sick certificate this will, in fact, line the pockets of doctors. Good thinking, government. Well done. What about those who cannot afford the 45 dollar or whatever they are doctor's fee? That seems fair and reasonable.
