Traffic Congestion

"The slowdown means an average 15km journey to work is about five minutes slower than it was a decade ago."
If South Australia has become worse it is a factor of speed cahnges on various major roads, non stop road works, more houses, more traffic lights and a lack of adequate public transport. You never know when roadworks are going to pop up. Housing estates put a load on roads. There is no thought about staggering school dismissal and starting times and trucks can really impede the traffic in hilly areas which a lot of Adelaide is. The roadworks need to be completed because our roads have been in need of upgrading so that bit is unavoidable for now.  With better public transport we'd ease the burden on roads.
