Social Networks

"SOCIAL networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace are now more popular than personal email with Australians spending one in every 10 minutes online inside their "virtual homes", research shows."

Social networks are not email. Email is old. We have outgrown it. Social networks are more convenient, more direct, easier to manage and less of a chore. Contact is a piece of cake. Simply more enjoyable and more efficient. Email replaced snail mail for the same reason. We have moved on. This should not be surprising. The difficulty we have is being slowed to a halt by clogged email boxes or email which is not available or lumpy. Social networks just keep everyone in the loop is a very easy fashion. Connectivity , isn't that what we are about?
