Hacker Hired

"She heard he had been diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, a mild form of autism often characterised by social isolation, when he was 10."

Aspergers children are often exceptioanlly gifted in one area and it is true they can be difficult to interact with since they run to their own rules and way of thinking. They run their own agenda and they can be difficult to manage if they are not brought in some way shape or form into the mainstream. Hiring this boy as an adviser is both using his talent and directing his energies and exceptional learning capacity in a positive way. He appears to have been closely supervised and mentored. He has been allowed to grow. Whether those opportunities will redirect his skills and motivation remains to be seen, but it is a least an insightful way of trying to deal with both destructive behaviour and Aspergers which has largely left us stumped and Aspergers sufferers and their families disenfranchised. It is interesting that he appears to have operated very well socially at that high level of business training and development.
