Food costs are up, and there's more pain in store - : "The prolonged drought, soaring farm business costs, high grain prices and booming overseas demand for some Australian produce is putting pressure on food prices."
At the moment we are all saying it is costing us twice as much to go to the supermarket. In winter it will be cheaper and we are looking at the work arounds...but double the cost? Some families will be going to the wall with this. It's awful and considering we cannot grow our own because of water rationing...well, time for plan B I think.
