We're feeling it as US economy worsens : "IT'S official. The collapse of the US housing market has hit the broader American economy — and Australia is about to feel the effects. The loss of 63,000 US jobs last month was the second consecutive fall — and the strongest indication so far that the world's biggest economy is in recession."

Bush , Blair and Howard must be laughing their heads off. Their fiscal incompetence has led to this because they just kept blowing money and funds and creating an artificial high...and what goes up, must come down and they are laughing because they have done really well out of this. I hope we have sufficient experts here and in the US to help buffer the blow...and it will be a team effort but I guess the rich will want to hang on to all their funds. Some are considering very carefully how they assist others and that is fantastic. There is only so much money and if the plan is to create systems whereby money goes in a particular direction..then we need to redirect some of it and we need to remember there is really only so much money you can spend...and that it does not buy happiness. I sound like my Grandma!!
