Homeless settle on Common Ground : "'We've got the first project off theground in Australia, and we're being criticised for trying to do the right thing.'"
Yes, the critics are always ready at the moment. We have become a nation of snipers and I guess old habits die hard. We need to change and we need to be more positive. We keep criticising anyone and anything. No wonder we are always crying on television. We need to make it easier on ourselves and others and a difference in attitude would help because we keep knocking things down and we keep putting great holes in people . That way nothing works and no one wants to be a part of anything. Common Ground is breaking new ground. It'll take a good year to get it up and running properly and to discover the issues. We need to let the people who have put it together have a decent go at it and we need to be ready with ideas if it wobbles. It is up to us.
