Workmen unearth murder victim – after 4,000 years

Workmen unearth murder victim – after 4,000 years : "The victim, a tall, well-built man in his mid-thirties, is the earliest example of death by spearing found in Australia. It is thought the killing may have been ritualistic, in which case it predates similar murders in Europe using 'death spears'."

How bizarre. I haven't seen this reported in our news and yes, it's significance is considerable. I expect the aboriginal people will be able to put it into context...and the find itself will help us to understand how people lived thousands of years ago. It's amazing. Have they turned the site into a dig?
