Banks snatch $10bn in fees

AdelaideNow... Banks snatch $10bn in fees: "AUSTRALIAN banks pulled in a whopping $9.8 billion in fees in the 2005-06 year, with households accounting for $4 billion with many more Australians paying penalty fees on credit cards."

There is something fundamentally wrong when this much profit is made by banks. Will they consider us? Doubt it. We really are being taken for a very expensive ride.
