Aboriginal leaders stage protest

Aboriginal leaders stage protest at London museum over ancestral remains. : "The Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre (TAC) is taking legal action in the British High Court for the immediate return of its ancestral remains, but the case has been adjourned until March 7 to allow the judge time to consider the evidence."

This is awful. This is so cruel. These remains are their people and their ancestors. They have been treated as though they are objects. This is their family. The Aboriginal Elders must be feeling so sad, but so very strong because protesting is not part of how they do things. They have asked and asked for these remains. They have followed the correct protocols ( not that they should have to...these are their people!) and it appeared to have been resolved. It's revolting how shabbily we treat some people on this planet.
