I still cannot believe I took so long to sponsor a child. Always I was thinking about it. Always I thought, yes, that would be a nice thing to do. Well, it's a year now and I have received my new photo and my little boy in Africa will soon be 8. He is well and I get letters regularly if I write regularly. It gives me such a nice feeling. I wish I could send him a football but I admire the way World Vision keeps everything equal for its sponsored children. It would not be an easy thing to do. I get regular updates and newsletters and can even write to my child online which is a real bonus when I am working a lot and don't have the time to sit and write properly. I can still type a decent letter online, and, as always, I get a warm reply. It just melts me. I promised myself this year I'd move my bottom and do the things I have been meaning to do. Well, this one is a real bonus and next year I plan to sponsor another!!

World Vision
