Homelessness increase strains welfare services.

Homelessness increase strains welfare services.:

"The number of families seeking help from Emergency Accommodation Services SA has risen from 10,000 to almost 12,000 in a year."

We have enough money in this country for everyone to be living comfortably. No one should be without a home. The vandalism caused to rental homes is another issue and needs to be dealt with, but no one should be bringing up their family in a car in South Australia. It has never been the case and it's a crying shame we have come to this. We have allowed this to happen. It annoys me more when there are two houses locally which have been empty for ages. Cleaned out and left for weeks. Someone could be living in them. It makes no sense for them to be empty. Some rents are too high and some people who rent are not to be trusted. But around here we have a mix and for the most part it works and that is how it should be.
