Pothole spotting

The Age: Potholes:

"Road inspectors in an English town are being taught to spot potholes. The council in Blackburn - whose '4000 holes' were made famous by the Beatles - asked the town's college to devise a intensive, three-week course after 250 compensation claims last year."

They are biggish, usually round and they go down lower than the surface of the road...Pothole spotting?! Training in pothole spotting?! They are a menace, that is for sure...but they are so nice and obvious!
