SA defends planned GM crop ban extension.

SA defends planned GM crop ban extension. :

"'We have the technology that we could increase the potential of that crop by about three-fold on a year like this and it would be a viable crop and we're not using that technology,' he said."

Other countries are vigilant about not having GM crops. Some of them do not allow bees to exist int he area. Other countries are safe gauarding their food. There have been programmes and articles about how American farmers have struggled with GM crops. They are not good and anyone who knows about agriculture will tell you that. Please consult the wealth of information available. Our governemtn is absolutely right. GM crops are a big no-no. There have been probelms with exporting crops since most countries don't want them. NZ didn't want to feed them to their cattle.
