Beazley calls for mini-budget.

Beazley calls for mini-budget. :

"'The Government has got to change direction, accept what the Reserve Bank is saying and go for the sorts of things that will preserve our prosperity by improving our productivity and a mini-budget is needed to do that,' Mr Beazley said."

The interest rate hikes, the petrol prices, the price of bananas, the increased prices because of the petrol prices mean we are all doing our sums and shifting our lives around. It's about change and it's about getting what we want in the way we want it. Some people doggedly hang onto a sinking budget. Others reformat themselves and find a different way of living. For some it means considerable change. For others it means little...but we are all keenly looking at costs and some of us know the hardship caused by things increasing. Some people might have to learn to cook because it's cheaper to cook your own meals than buy pre prepared. It will have an impact right across the nation but currently people seem to be doing what is right for them.
