Port Plaisance

This is Port Plaisance. They were talking on the news yesterday about how Port Adelaide was getting far more tourists than any other part...why not? Look at Port Plaisance. The people owning the moored boats were tinkering. The locals had a shady spot to sit and watch. The tourists loved the plants ,the water and the boats...there are hotels, apartments, a shopping centre and it's just around the corner from the Baie de la Moselle and the markets...But look again. It's that happy knack of allowing nature to predominate but include the things humans like...sea, grass, plants, shopping...No wonder people like the Port over here. Port Adelaide can get that feel. Same as Lake Weeroona in Bendigo...the water and landscape dominate and make a fantastic area for humans. Go team...think plants, water and the rest falls into place!! Posted by Picasa
