Exactly. Our leaders have made a decision he is guilty. He is currently living outside the law and so are they. The British have been saving our people in Lebanon too, and the Greeks...and heaven knows who else. Our leaders are not very good at saving us. You can go to the GetUp website and sign their letter. Many prominenet Australians have got behind this campaign for no other reason than David Hicks needs a fair hearing and he has been left to rot in Guantanamo Bay. I hope his father will take courage and solace from this because we do care and he has tried to negotiate , listen and speak in such a rational, reasonable way. I can only say what I have said before...he's a great Dad and a great role model for Australians. He has tried to do this in a civilised way and he has tried to be tolerant of systems. He is a marvel but all the time his civility is ignored. There is probably a lesson in there.
