Sophie Delezio walks out of hospital

Sophie Delezio walks out of hospital

"She can't wait to get back to school. It's such a thrill for her to go to school and live like a normal child, and have friends and play."

Little Sophie is an inspiration to us all. It moved and touched us deeply when we heard this little girl had been involved in another horrific accident and might not live. The whole nation stopped, shed a tear and hoped and hoped and hoped. Sophie's parents have managed the trauma amazingly well and have talked to us through the news and realise that their special little girl means a lot to us and that we have stood next to them as they have had to do such a hard job of being a parent again. We all saw little Sophie on the news last night...walking in her lovely pink fairy dress. She is unstoppable and she is so special. She has already lost her feet and been severely burned and has now had to recover from another car damaging her fragile little body. Her spirit teaches us so much. We have so little to complain about if , at 5, this little girl can just do the hard yards and come up with a positive view of the world and be ready to plan for tomorrow. She just looked so determined and cute in her little pink dress and her parents must be so amazing and amazed. Sophie has more operations to come, but it is just so great to see her well.
