Socceroos World Cup Germany

Aussie United - Australia Socceroos To The World Cup 2006 Germany:

"Online discussion about the Socceroos (Australian soccer team) build up to the world cup 2006 in Germany"

Here's a site all ready to go for the world cup dicussions and to support our Socceroos team. The excitement is starting to mount now we are down to the final month. The German town welcoming our Socceroos was shown on one of our local programmes and the people have done such a wonderful job to get into the spirit of Australia but hadn't quite worked out Vegemite. They'll be pleased they hadn't when they taste it! They have made such a wonderful Ozzification of the town right down to the freshly baked kangaroo biscuits. It is so kind of them to be so welcoming to our team...who will be staying in pretty swanky accommodation by the looks. How lucky are they? Good luck to them, they have worked for years to get to this point and I am certain they will love Germany. Incidently - the typical Aussie breakfast is fresh orange juice, cereal like Vita Brits, Weetbix, Cornflakes or Muesli or....toasted wholegrain bread and vegemite and then either a cup of tea, coffee or warm Milo. These days we like our milk skimmed. The biggest problem for Australians overseas is we don't eat a lot of fat and we eat heaps of fruit and salad, so a lot of diets are too much of the cooked veg or too rich.
