The Australian: Face climate reality, BP chief says

The Australian: Face climate reality, BP chief says :

"Mr Hueston's call was immediately backed by the Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF), which urged other businesses to unite around practical action on climate change."

It's true, we all have to get behind this. Change is action. Business can lead the way and create new areas for itself at the same time if it so wishes, but businesses can create a change in behaviour and they can have a positive influence. I was pleased to hear we are getting more trms in Adeliade and they look so swish. Classy stuff. I love our old Glenelg tram, though. It means we will have a chance to abandon our cars and use something which is efficiient , effective and is not polluting our atmosphere. Given we've got into solar heating and saving our storm water , we are on the way to making some decent changes to make our city healthier, but add our bit to th eglobal effort. Mr. Hueston is showing some good leadership here and if he is promotoing his business interests at the same time, I am not offended.
