Oral-B Triumph ProfessionalCare 9000

Oral-B Triumph ProfessionalCare 9000 Power Toothbrush : "One of the real values of the Triumph lies in the convenience it provides to the user. An easy-to-read digital display set into the handle of the brush lights tells you when the brushheads are ready for replacement or when the battery needs recharging. Additionally, the brush is programmed to time each brushing session for the dentist-recommended two minutes. Every 30 seconds the brush pulses, alerting the user to shift to a new quadrant of the mouth. And when the two minutes are up, the brush pulses and displays a friendly 'happy face' on the handle's indicator."

What next?? I just saw an add for this, so I gather we are into the next generation toothbrushes and , of course, they come with an onboard computer!! What else? Is nothing safe and nothing sacred? What happened to the "toothbrush" or the "phone" or the "clock"? They all come with great technological advances. The toothbrush sounds impressive though and I guess it would be good to help train young ones into good habits. Mind you, I had to laugh, I heard one of the younger people who kept having trouble with the new hands free phone she was supposed to be using asking, Don't they just have phones where you can just ring? Ah, Grasshopper, you have a lot to learn.
