THE SYMPTOMS :
"Measles symptoms include fever, tiredness, cough, sore throat, runny nose and sore eyes."
Beware the rash and the middle ear infection. Adelaide is having a wee problem with measles brought in from overseas. A lot of the up to 20 somethings have been immunised against it and so we'll probably clear it quite quickly. We need to keep vigilant because measles isn't just one of those cute child hood illnesses. It can have some very serious consequences if the sufferer gets pneumonia or brain infection. It is a preventable disease so I hope we get the usual health advice to remind us to keep on the ball with this one.
