The Biggest Loser

This is one of the great moments of the week, when Bob took the traumatised black team out for an hour’s run just to get over the fact the others were back. They pounded their way to stability and Bob’s lesson in mental strength was not lost on them because they did the very same thing on the treadmills when Jo, Harry and Cat were returned back in victory to the house. Now, we know none of these people coming back have won, because we have seen footage of them all after they left the house. The show is being set up for Kristie to win and to look like a worthy winner. To tell you the truth, I haven’t gone back on her after I went off her last week. She is very self centred and self satisfied. It was great to see Wal and if anyone should have been back, he should have been because he set the tone for the show, kept his game out in the open, carried a lot of people for a number of weeks and was massively successful in the challenges and in losing weight. His bit of weight was probably his saying, I was turfed out, so I just came back to have a look at you, but the game is the game. Tracy didn’t return and I respect her for that because having seen her out of the house she is a lot happier and more content and successful in her own environment. For the first time I really felt for Fiona when she was put on the spot Monday for gaining weight again. This is her third time. She has been working her backside off and building up such strength and inner courage, but Monday she was in distress and everyone felt it. It was terrible emotional pain for her to front up to Bob and Jillian and she was in such a state and tried to hang in there. I really did feel for her because she was so humiliated. It seems to be the emotional burden she has...the not worthy thing. That came out later in the week and Jillian handled it brilliantly. Should the others be back? It certainly livened the others up and it put Kristie on the spot. Adro is angry and for once he is learning he is WORTHY of working for himself. He has always worked for others. The Friday night weigh in was a bit histrionic with Harry being isolated. Harry was kicked off by the former alliance. The alliance stuffed the show for a while and people were put off who did not deserve to be. Jo is marvellously fit, as is Artie. Harry is a force to be reckoned with. But I loved Cat, Dave and Ruth. The show was never for them because they were too big, but they have each put themselves right on the line and bit by bit they are getting there. It has been so much harder for those three. Cat and Ruth finished the dunes challenge and that is power to them. Dave’s knees went, but his spirit is strong and he has to be the nicest man in the universe…a few more pounds and they ought to be lining up to marry him. He is just so lovely…and just look at Shane!! What a difference!
