Three lost in ghost ship mystery : "'They got on board and said the engine was running, the computers were running, there was a laptop set up on the table which was running, the radio was working, the GPS was working and there was food and utensils set on the table ready to eat, but no sign of the crew,' he said."
Bit odd and very worrying. Presumably the 3 men have family and friends who are worried sick about their vaporising into thin air. One man is in his 50s and the other two in their 60s , so presumably they are pretty well seasoned sailors. There's a big sea and air search and they will keep it going for a while and they have the GPS system to try and recover some data clues. They were supposed to be sailing back to WA...but the boat was found north Queensland. They had just bought the catamaran at Airlie Beach, the beach from which they left. I am sure the police will get to the bottom of it all and I hope the men are found safe for the sake of their families. They are a really long way from home. It's a hugely long way to sail back to WA.
