300 dolphins wash up on Zanzibar beach.

300 dolphins wash up on Zanzibar beach. :

"At least 300 dead dolphins have washed ashore on a beach in Zanzibar overnight but the cause of the deaths is unknown.

An official with the Zanzibar Fisheries Department and Marine Products, Sihaba Haji, says the islands have not witnessed the death of such a large number of dolphins before."

These Indian Bolltlenose dolphins are dead for no apparent reason at the moment. 300 is a considerable number of dolphins to be washed ashore. People are taking the dolphin meat home which is better than letting it rot, I guess, but since the cause is unknown, the meat might be tainted. I am sick and tired of hearing of the mass destruction of fauna. We are bloomin' hopeless at looking after our home. I hope we find the cause and I am so angry we treat life with such impunity these days. Oh well, 300 dolphins, who cares and then some weak explanation. We are so irresponsible.
