Africans go hungry across world's poorest continent

Africans go hungry across world's poorest continent : :

"The United Nations says it needs $2-billion to help feed more than 25-million Africans in 2005. Funds raised so far? Less than half, with a $1,1-billion shortfall."

Considering how many billionnaires we made last year then it's not surprising we cannot find a couple of million to feed others. Africa is in an invidious position because the tribes are warring or the droughts are killing. Rain would help. We just let them starve. So what? I look at my little spnsored boy's face every morning and I get letters from him to know I have made a difference. His life is so different from mine, but he is going along in a positive way with sponsorship and aid workers. It really doesn't take much for those of us who have to make a difference for those who have nothing...not even rain.
