More weather links!

SA Weather Net

Severe Weather

I know, I'm obsessing. It is driving me crazy. Again I've traded trackpants and jumpers for the usual shorts and top at this time of year. No summer, no thongs, no BBQs...and even if it does warm up, missing out on the rhythm of the seasons is annoying me no end. It's all so blooming drastic. So here are links to the SA weather net and here you can see some good photos. If you've never been in a dust storm, you haven't lived. They are awesome to watch and terrifying if they are big , red and headed your way. They turn everything to night as they roll over and you just can't breathe and then the red dust of our country is everywhere. There is also the severe weather site which has the international links. We might as well get good at this and then we'll figure it out. Someone was saying the patterns for the East coast storms were the same as the Sydney to Hobart yacht race which claimed 6 lives in 1996. That would have been just after Christmas. So the patterns have been here before. It's just more widespread and severe.
