The Australian: Cancer's tricks of travel revealed :
"'This is incredibly novel and exciting if it can be repeated by other laboratories,' said Rohan Steel of the metastasis laboratory at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne. 'You could potentially stop the spread of cancer in its tracks.'"
Researchers are starting to work out how cancer spreads and it is often the cancer spreading to the major organs which is the worst thing to happen. They seems to have established how the cell colonies send other cells to contaminate healthy organs. I hope their research into fibronectin and cell nests will result in some effective treatments. The sooner the better.
