Red the world's richest cat

The Courier-Mail: Red the world's richest cat :

"Canadian David Harper, the shy and somewhat reclusive owner of Red the cat, died in March at the age of 79, but left an estate worth $A1.5 million to his beloved tabby."

$1.5 million dollars should keep the cat in the matter to which it would like to become accustomed. What happens then, when the cat dies? Where does the money go then? Does the cat have expensive needs and tastes, I wonder?
