Sydney protesters air terrorism laws concerns. :
"More than 1,000 people have gathered in Sydney to mark the start of a weekend of protests across Australia against the Federal Government's proposed counter-terrorism laws."
It's liek the turn of the last century. When the general population is not consulted then protests just spring up sponataneously. I have a feeling we sahll see more of them because we cannot be excluded and disenfranchised from our daily living. Any major changes have to be consultative and have to go through the processes people are familiar with. Not to do that just breeds unrest. It is far better to work with people and negotiate. We knew that because we have had a country which has used the consensus model very successfully for a long time.
