It's true, cherries are the thing which tell us Christmas is here. The berry fruits have been particularly good lately and I wish we had more so they could be cheaper. Cherries always start off at really high prices and get cheper by Christmas. They don't seem to last for long. I like them stewed with other berried fruit and I like them cooked in cakes and slices. I am not one to eat raw cherries. I prefer strawberries. I didn't realise they were so good for you. They are just cherries and as a kid I used to dangle them over my ears to make earrings. All that nutrition posing as fashion!
