Polio eradicated from 10 African states. :
"The World Health Organisation (WHO) says a polio epidemic has been successfully stopped in 10 countries in west and central Africa.
Among the countries now declared polio free are Cameroon, Ghana, Mali and Togo."
Good news indeed and something we need to persevere with. It would be nice to be the generation which rids the planet of scourges which have undermined people's lives for far too long. We have the vaccines, let's do it. Polio is something we can get rid of.
