Onya Jason!!

I couldn't believe it when Jason Gillespie copped a merciless serve on Friday night from none other than Jeffrey Boycott who ought to know better. Fortunately, Jason is South Australian which gives you a very odd sort of protection from attacks to self esteem. Jason made his test debut in 1996 and has been a brilliant addition to our team. His body is injury prone and that is as frustrating for him as it is for us, but he makes little of it and just gets on with the job. A great role model in that respect. He has taken 250 test wickets, made 961 test runs , has been in some great tail end partnerships to save our bacon and is a wonderful inspiration to aspiring cricketers. Look at his stats, they are pretty impressive and Jason Gillespie does not deserve the sledging he copped. So unnecessary and so undignified. Onya Jason. Jason Gillespie
