81yo charged over ice ring : "She is due to face Young Local Court early next month."

Young Local Court at 81? They sure don't make Grannies like they used to. She's supposed to be dribbling and peeing , knitting blankets for the needy and doting over her grand children. What was she thinking dealing ice and growing dope? She's obviously seriously lost it but she's not ready for the old folks' home yet. At her age I'd like her to see the effects of these drugs on people. I'd like her to know that what she is doing brings such misery to others. Maybe she didn't get a choice. Maybe she was co opted because of her age. I want her to have a fair hearing, a good restorative justice session and then...put her behind bars? Doesn't sit well with me, but she cannot be allowed to carry on like that. Some community service where she is under surveillance. She obviously has energy. She could work in shelters...unless she really isn't safe to leave with others. I am sure our courts will sort it all out.
